Is Your Business Taking Advantage of Fitness Articles?

There is no shortage of blogs out there on the internet today. It has been said that one out of every eight people have a blog and post regularly. With that being said, are you taking advantage of fitness articles? Are you a business owner who is wrapping their arms around the idea of starting a blog and are looking for fitness articles to publish? Fitness articles can be extremely helpful but it all comes down to the actual source that the information is coming from.

Are All Fitness Articles Good?

One of the benefits of the internet is that there are a ton of fitness articles out there. The downside is, funny enough, there are a ton of fitness articles out there. Listen, if I took someone off the street who knows nothing about health or fitness and had them write some fitness articles and publish them on a website, what do you think will happen? There will probably be some people who follow the advice found in those fitness articles. While there is a ton of information out there today for us to use, there’s a ton of really bad advice out there as well. I’m proud of the fact that so many people look at me as an expert in the industry and come to me for advice through my fitness articles or trust me to help grow their business by writing fitness articles for their blog to improve traffic and conversion.

Most people today want to feel like they are a part of something. By having a helpful and informative blog, the content provides a win-win for everyone. You get the traffic and conversions you were looking for while the consumer engages with the content and finds value they can apply to their own life to help them reach their goals.

Fitness Articles Help Build Something of Value

When it comes to SEO, copying and pasting someone else’s work is not only plagiarism, but it also hurts your SEO as Google recognizes that the article has already been indexed by someone else and what you put up is duplicate information. So, what do they do? They make it nearly impossible for you to rank well and get the content out in front of people’s eyeballs unless you do all the marketing on the piece yourself.

What you want are fitness articles that are unique and original. Sure, you can talk about similar topics when compared to someone else, but the meat and potatoes (the body of the article) should be your own. When you start building something of value with your fitness articles, people look forward to your next post and are willing to go to your site to read any new content. While on your site, that gives the reader the opportunity to learn and from that information, they may make the decision to buy one of your products based off of something they read in the article.

You can think of great fitness articles on a website in a similar fashion as what they said in Field of Dreams – “If you build it, they will come.” While this isn’t always the case, when you use the right keywords, have good quality content at length, and meet many of Google’s ranking requirements, your content can get out in front of people. The more people you help, the more authoritative your company is considered.

Writing Content is a Major Time Constraint

If you run a business or a department, we both know you don’t have time to sit down and write fitness articles in your spare time because you don’t have any. At the same time, you don’t want to pass along the task to just anyone on your team, especially if they aren’t well-educated on topics you are looking to publish. That’s where dedicated content writers (like myself) come into play.

Why would you want to waste most of your day writing an article when writing isn’t in your wheelhouse? Put your focus where your strengths are and hire someone to handle your content creation (and even copywriting) needs as well as build out your blog content strategy. I would love to get to know the type of content you’re looking to publish and create a content calendar with you that allows you to publish weekly content that engages your audience and builds a community around your brand.

The nice thing is, you get content delivered to your inbox each week that all you need to do is post on your website. No more spending hours typing and deleting text just to get frustrated with how long you’ve spent on a piece of content you aren’t even in love with. My clients continue to use me because not only do they see me as an expert in the industry, but they know my content gets eyeballs. Many say I have a unique style of writing that makes fitness articles fun and engaging to read – while at the same time providing a ton of value.
