Less Naked Whey Review: It’s Time to Get NAKED!

I’m always on the lookout for new or interesting products on the market to try and give you my two cents on. If you have read some of my content in the past on AskMen.com, you would have seen my Pea Protein, Casein Whey, and Mass Gainer articles which covered some of the best brands/products out there (in my opinion at the time of writing them). One of the brands that was included in each of those content pieces is Naked Nutrition. No, it’s not X-rated — it’s simply a darn good brand which now has a product called Less Naked Whey. And because I like telling you about good products I try, I decided to put together this Less Naked Whey review.

I should preface this Less Naked Whey review by saying Naked Nutrition is a high-quality product without all of the junk fillers and low-quality whey protein. Their products are as basic as they need to be while using the best ingredients to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. That being said, be prepared to pay a premium price. Is it worth the price tag? I’ll let you be the judge of that by the end of this review.

It’s a Party When You… GET NAKED!

Everyone loves a good party. Especially a flavorful party in your mouth when you consume amazing food or beverages. Naked Nutrition definitely brings the party with their assortment of various products.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Naked Nutrition, they are a brand who brings to market products with pure ingredients, yet keeps the ingredient list very minimal to cut out all the crap that many brands are putting in their products. When you use a protein powder, look at the list of ingredients. In fact, look at the one you are using right now. You’ll find ingredients you can’t even pronounce as well as a paragraph full of various ingredients they tossed in the product. With Less Naked Whey, you get three ingredients — grass-fed whey protein, organic coconut sugar, and organic cacao powder. They also have other protein powders that simply have one ingredient — the grass-fed whey protein.

Click here to head over to their website and see all the various protein powders they offer.

I love the fact that a brand is removing all the excessive junk from their profile to bring you a nice and clean formula you can feel comfortable consuming and doesn’t cause you to get all bloated. After all, you do care about what you’re putting in your body, right?

Less Naked Whey Review

I’ve had some time under my belt with this Less Naked Whey and I’ve tried it many different ways. I first drank a shake of just water and Less Naked Whey powder — it was a light chocolate flavor and if you are expecting a super sweet chocolate shake, this isn’t it. But that definitely doesn’t mean it’s bad by any means. Due to the natural ingredients, without all of the added artificial sweeteners and such, the flavor WILL be on the lighter side with the raw cacao flavor being primarily what you taste with a slight sweetness coming from the coconut sugar. Overall, this shake was by no means dull, boring, or undrinkable.

I also mixed two scoops (one serving) into a bowl of oatmeal. It added a nice subtle flavor to what would be boring breakfast, so it was a nice change and addition. From there I experimented in a blender with the Less Naked Whey and a banana. This came out delicious. I’ve also heard many people say they used almond milk rather than water and it also was good (personally, I’m not a fan of milk or milk-substitutes).

Would I recommend this product? I would. I love what Naked Nutrition is trying to do with their brand and I respect the fact that they appreciate those who want to know exactly what’s going in their body and doesn’t want all the fillers and junk. They have a no-nonsense approach to marketing that doesn’t include any hype which I respect.

Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about the product in my Less Naked Whey review. It mixed well, it had a good taste, the profile is fantastic, and other than it being a little on the pricier side (which if you care about what you put in your body the price shouldn’t be an issue), I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t give this product a try for yourself.
