The Need for ESSENTIAL Amino Acids for Muscle Growth

For the longest time, BCAAs (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine) were the craze in terms of not only intra-workout supplements, but also muscle growth.  Quite frankly, amino acids are what make up protein which when consumed, can aid in building quality lean muscle mass.  Amino acids are commonly referred to as “the building blocks of muscle.”  It wasn’t until recently that researchers discovered that BCAAs alone, are not going to help build new muscle as efficiently as we first assumed.  In fact, it’s the EAAs (essential amino acids) in combination with BCAAs that actually are the most beneficial when looking at the muscle growth equation.

The BCAA Bubble Has Burst

People for years have been using BCAAs in their pre-workouts, intra-workouts, post-workouts, and sipping BCAAs out of a gallon jug every day in hopes that it will assist in producing muscle growth.  Unfortunately, science has burst the BCAA bubble.  While not worthless, researchers have found that BCAAs are incomplete, and we need EAAs to get the full benefit and potential for lean mass gains.  Now, before you go tossing your BCAA powders out the window, they do help build lean mass – research has proven this.  However, what the research is now showing, is that you can achieve the desired results quicker if you also include EAAs into the equation.

BCAAs + EAAs = MUSCLE GROWTH

Researchers have found that BCAAs alone only increased lean mass gains marginally.  However, when combined with EAAs and protein, muscle growth doubled.  Now, I’m not saying that by supplementing with BCAAs and EAAs they are going to turn you into Arnold and give you an accent.  What I AM saying, is that with this combination, you are putting yourself in a much better position of reaching your true muscle growth potential.

When we look at all the products out on the market today, it only makes sense to stack ingredients that compliment each other.  For that reason, Rock Solid Nutrition has jumped ahead of the curve and launched a new product called EAA Pump.
