MuscleSport Lean Whey: Delicious & Multifaceted Protein Powder

If you’re into fitness or bodybuilding, you’ve probably tried your fair share of protein powders. For many of us, we feel like Goldilocks trying the various porridges until we find something that is just right. The more protein powders I try, the more data I’m left with to analyze. And when it comes to MuscleSport Lean Whey, there’s a lot to talk about.

MuscleSport Lean Whey Isn’t Your Typical Protein Powder

There’s something to be said about the quality of a protein powder — in this instance, MuscleSport Lean Whey. Not to knock any particular brand, but in the past, we’ve all witnessed amino spiking (also called protein spiking) where brands would count amino acids, like taurine and glycine as protein on the label — that is, until they got caught. We also have protein blends that you have no clue how much of each protein source is used.

What I like about MuscleSport Lean Whey is that they actually break down how much of each protein source is included as well as what is yielded.

For instance, let’s look at the MuscleSport Lean Whey Vanilla Ice Cream since a vanilla flavor is pretty much a staple flavor most brands include in their protein powders. The MuscleSport Lean Whey utilizes both a whey protein isolate as well as hydrolyzed whey protein. The total protein content per scoop is 29 grams (but let’s look at how much you actually yield — which no one thinks about).

The label is incredibly clear and transparent with the protein blend used. For instance, they call out that you’re getting 15 grams (yielding 14 grams of protein) from a cross-flow, cold-infused, micro-filtrated whey protein isolate.

Included in the MuscleSport Lean Whey protein matrix is also 14 grams (yielding 11.2 grams of protein) from hydrolyzed whey protein. This particular protein source includes dipeptides, tripeptides, oligopeptides, alpha-lactalbumin, beta-lactoglobulin, immunoglobulin, and glycomacropeptides.

I appreciate the fact that the label discloses this information. If you’re doing the math and following along, one scoop of MuscleSport Lean Whey yields a total of 25 grams of protein.

But MuscleSport Lean Whey isn’t your typical protein powder — it’s more. An additional element missing from many protein powders on the market (which may or may not be a significant selling point to you) is that they also include a fat metabolizing matrix of ingredients that can help your body burn away stubborn body fat.

Now, I’ll caveat that by saying nothing works unless you do. You simply can’t drink a MuscleSport Lean Whey shake and sit on the couch waiting for your gut to disappear. You’re still going to need to have a solid nutrition plan and be hitting the gym to get in your resistance training and cardio. But the fact that it contains ingredients that help manage body weight is a pretty unique position.

This particular fat metabolizing matrix in MuscleSport Lean Whey contains patented Fibersol®-2, MCTs, L-Carnitine Tartrate, CLA, and trademarked IGNITORÔ that helps release the protein and amino acids for improved absorption and utilization.

TMI or Is This What You’ve Been Looking For?

I’ll be straight up with you, there are protein powders out there that, after consuming, I could knock a fly off a shit wagon at 100 paces. I’m talking gas so rancid that it’ll leave you dry-heaving. Ultimately, that was a dead giveaway that the protein sources used in those particular powders were pretty low quality. I’m happy to say that I’ve had no issue with MuscleSport Lean Whey.

I have tried everything from one MuscleSport Lean Whey shake per day to up to three, and I didn’t experience any gastric distress, no stomach issue, no frequent trips to the bathroom, and (thankfully) no explosive and foul gas.

Additionally, if you frequently find yourself bloated from your protein powder, I haven’t experienced any bloating, even when taking upwards of three MuscleSport Lean Whey shakes a day.

Is MuscleSport Lean Whey a Protein Powder or a Dessert?

Obviously, we’re talking about a protein powder here, but the flavor systems used for the various flavors of MuscleSport Lean Whey are simply amazing. If you can get your hands on some of their limited edition and seasonal flavors, you will not be disappointed. If you are disappointed, send them my way!

Depending on what I have for dinner throughout the week (whether or not I get enough protein in the meal), I may follow up the meal with a MuscleSport Lean Whey shake to increase my protein intake for the meal to help hit my daily requirements. And no, I’m not slamming down a plain vanilla or chocolate flavor, I’m going for the crazy flavors.

Yes, you can choose from vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and cookies & cream flavors, but the MuscleSport Lean Whey flavors that make my mouth water are the Protella, Fruity Cereal, Lean Charms, Pumpkin Spice, Orange Creamsicle, Patriot Cake, and Italian Rainbow Cookie. Be aware that some of those flavors are seasonal or limited edition and may not be available when you read this article. But if they are, I highly recommend you give them a try — they’re delicious.

You can either mix the MuscleSport Lean Whey up in a shaker bottle (the standard protein shake), or you can mix it up in a blender with ice and even a frozen banana to add some texture to your shake — which is by far my favorite way to make a protein shake.

In my opinion, if you’re looking for a new (high-quality) protein powder to try, I would absolutely recommend MuscleSport Lean Whey. You can find out more about this protein by going to their website. I don’t make a dime whether you make a purchase or not on their site, and I wasn’t paid to write this article, so I have no reason to push a product that I don’t personally use. I just thought you might want to try something new, and if you do try it, let me know your thoughts.
