I can remember back to my days at MET-Rx when Mariusz Pudzianowski was larger than life — both physically and professionally. Everyone wanted to see the World’s Strongest Man at our booth, get a picture, have him sign an autograph, and simply be in awe of how ginormous Mariusz Pudzianowski was.

While a MET-Rx athlete, Mariusz Pudzianowski was treated like royalty even though being slightly challenging to work with. But overall, earning the title of The World’s Strongest Man is no small feat, and we tried to include him in everything we did as a brand and team.

It should also be noted that MET-Rx was the main sponsor of The World’s Strongest Man for many years, which was another reason Mariusz Pudzianowski was such a great fit as a MET-Rx athlete.

Mariusz’s physique was inconceivable for how big he was. Back then (and even today), it’s not every day that you see a Strongman competitor with ripped abs — but Mariusz Pudzianoski was a freak of nature, which is one of the reasons he fit the mold of the MET-Rx brand at the time.

Unfortunately, that never panned out.
