Business Attire: When You Look Good, You Feel Good

Have you ever purchased a piece of clothing that when you put it on it makes you feel like a million bucks?  Do you tend to walk with a little extra swagger?  A little more confidence?  Then why wouldn’t you want to invest in business attire that makes you feel the same way?  This is in no way, shape, or form a sponsored post or a paid advertisement for Bradley Allen, but I am going to give them some props.

I have had the toughest time finding dress shirts that fit my build for business attire.  The shirts at Bradley Allen are designed to fit the athletic physique.  It is tailored and contours the body exactly how you want it to.  No longer did I need to buy a shirt so large that I swam in it around the waist just so that it would fit me through the chest, back, and shoulders.  Definitely check them out if you have a hard time finding button-down dress shirts that fit your athletic build.

What Business Attire Can Do For YOU…

business attire

I have the luxury of working out of my home office if I wish, and even when I work from home I tend to dress in business attire.  Why?  I mean, it’s just me and my dog, right?  True.  But it’s the feeling I get in the clothes that make me more productive and confident during the day.  When I’m wearing a button-down shirt, chinos, some nice shoes, and of course a pair of colorful socks, it puts me in the mood to get some serious work done.  Toss on a pair of sweatpants and I feel way too relaxed to really want to dive in and hustle and grind.  It’s a mentality.  When I wear business attire I know what time it is – it’s time to get sh*t done.  Can you relate?

Now, I’m not telling you to go out and buy five $1,000+ suits to wear each day of the week.  But, if you go buy yourself some nice slacks, shoes, and shirts, you can interchange them all to create many unique looks without needing to go buy 10 of each item and drain your bank account.  I like to use the phrase, “Buy once, cry once.”  Again, I’m not saying you need to buy top of the line business attire if you can’t afford it, but invest in some quality pieces that won’t break down after several washes and pieces that hold their color and form.

The thing I like most about purchasing business attire from Bradley Allen is that they seem to fit perfectly right out of the package.  This allows me to keep some money in my pocket rather than heading to the tailor, which is always appreciated (I’m sure you would agree).  So, I highly recommend you take a look at your business attire and decide if it’s time to invest in some new pieces.  Is your productivity down?  Are you not motivated?  Sometimes buying a new article of clothing is what you need to make you feel like a boss again.  Try it out for yourself and let me know what happens.
