Are You Fit for Survival? Or Praying for Help?

We, unfortunately, live in a world where we need to be fit for survival.  No one is coming to save you in time.  There is no Bat Signal that can be flashed into the sky late at night or Superman who can come swooping in the very instant something bad is about to take place.  Yes, we have police, but when you are faced with a life or death situation where seconds matter, a police response will not be quick enough.  You are your own first and last line of defense in that instance.

Are you left praying for help or are you fit for survival and can handle the situation?  When it comes down to your life or another person’s, do you have the will to survive?  Are you fit enough to perform at max efficiency at the drop of a dime?  Are you situationally aware so that you can avoid certain situations that could put you in danger?

Don’t make yourself an easy target.  The evil in this world doesn’t want someone to fight back.  But, fight back you must.  You MUST be fit for survival and ready to defend your family should an event unfold that puts all of you in grave danger.  I’m not saying that we all should be living in fear, but we need to be realistic with the world we live in today and the evil that is out there.

You need to change your mindset.  You need to improve your skillsets and see value in preparation.  Strength, endurance, power, situational awareness, self-defense, and many others are skills and abilities you need to possess in order to be fit for survival.  Are you healthy enough to even get out of your own way, or are you huffing and puffing just reading this blog post?
