Have You Heard of The Best Bar Ever? Well, You’re About Too!

Every once in a while, a product comes to market where all you can say is, “why didn’t I think of that?”. The Best Bar Ever is one of those products. It was created in response to the company’s founders’ frustration with today’s protein bar landscape. Instead of being driven by health and quality, most protein bar companies focus on engineering low-cost bars with a long shelf life.

Let’s think about the process and life-cycle of a normal protein bar. A bar gets produced and packaged by the manufacturer, then sits in a warehouse until a distributor, retailer, or consumer finally purchases it. Most of these bars are able to sit for around a year or longer before going bad, thanks to the chemicals and preservatives they’re loaded with. My feeling is that if you expect a product to sit on a shelf or in a warehouse for a year or longer, then it’s probably not one that moves quickly through its supply chain. Also, if a bar can sit on a shelf for a long period of time, doesn’t that give you all the information you need on the ingredients found inside? To make matters worse, these super long shelf-life bars are often marketed with misleading nutritional claims to make you think the product is healthy when in reality it’s simply a candy bar in disguise.

Raising the Bar

The Best Bar Ever doesn’t compromise when it comes to putting out the highest quality product with the ultimate in freshness. The only preservative they use is the refrigerator. No seriously, there are no preservatives in the bar like normal shelf-stable bars. They also make their bars fresh and from scratch.

In today’s “grab-and-go” society, we must realize that convenience doesn’t always correlate with quality. The brand came out of the gates looking to kill the compromise people make with on-the-go foods. They believe in using REAL FOOD ingredients that nourish the body.

Real Food… Real Delicious

Most protein bars market themselves as “healthy,” yet are full of fillers, sugar alcohols, and other synthetic ingredients. That’s not the case with The Best Bar Ever.  Each bar is packed with at least 15g of protein, is gluten-free, and is handcrafted from a nutritious mix of real food ingredients. This provides you with an ideal blend of quality fats, carbs, and proteins – all in balanced ratios.

When’s the last time you ate a protein bar? Remember the taste and texture? Not exactly appealing, but most people will suffer through it because they want the added protein in their diet. The majority of the shelf-stable bars out on the market these days are extremely dry, leave an unpleasant chemical aftertaste or taste like a mouthful of chalk.

The Best Bar Ever’s bars are soft and moist, with a delicious nutty-sweet flavor, and no bitter aftertaste. From what we’re told, their incredible taste is actually how these bars got their name. “This is the Best Bar Ever” is the most common thing people say after trying one.

Matt Weik walked into a bar… The Best Bar Ever

OK, that joke wouldn’t have gone very far; however, I think this bar will for sure go far in the industry. A gym rat, bodybuilder, and everyone in between can benefit from this bar. I’ve tried it for myself, and I can honestly say that it’s hands-down the best bar I’ve ever had. I, myself, have a constant supply in my refrigerator. They currently come in 6 flavors: Original, Apple Pie, Chocolate Coconut, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Bun, and Cookie Dough. Of all of these, Cookie Dough is definitely my favorite, with the Original and Apple Pie coming in right behind.

Would I recommend these bars? Absolutely. While a little more expensive than some of the longer shelf-life bars on the market, in my opinion, they’re well worth the small additional cost.
